That's G.E. Smith on his signature Telecaster. Awesome artist. Played with Hall & Oates for 6 years, Bandmaster of SNL for 10. He's played with practically everyone. Some may think his playing and attitude he exudes onstage makes him look arrogant. I believe he just plays from the heart and soul. it gets my vote... i like the beat, it's cool to hear a new take on an old song..and ann gots the feelin down pat. it never ceases to amaze me that ppl r such haterz w/ comments... if you dont like it, there's a little button on your keyboard u can click anytime... PEACE

This video is a bit overproduced and doesn't sound nearly as good as the live versions I've heard. So while the video does kind of suck, i wouldn't say they butchered it. Sless comes in and makes up for all the overprodiuction.
