Remember what I said about wishing life was perfect, that everyone cared about YOU. Well now, i feel guilty about that cuz I just made Joe loose Brooke. He loved her so much. I just hate to see him like that. I even said to him, “You could do better Joe”. And he did, but i just had to be greedy and take that away. I have to do something.

NICK’S POV
I was walking to Shae’s room when I heard her singing. So I decided to go in. When I got in, I couldn’t find her anywhere. But then I knew where she was.....hopefully!
END OF POV
Nick:* walked out onto the roof and sat beside Shae* Hey.
Shae: Hey!
Nick: Is it just me or whenever I come to see you, you break into song?
Shae: *laughs a little* Oh, it’s totally just you! So, um have you gone out with Natalye yet?
Nick: I haven’t asked her yet.
Shae: REALLY! I thought that you would ask her right away?
Nick: I dunno.
Shae: Oh, so you’re waiting for the right time to ask her if she lost her virginity!? I see now!
Nick: *laughs* I guess so. I don’t want to rush her!
Shae: *laughs. She rests her head on his shoulder*
Nick:* He rests his head on hers* Um, Shae?
Shae: Yeah?
Nick: I was going to tell you earlier, but i’m leaving.
Shae: *brings her head back up* What?
Nick: I’m leaving. Tomorrow.
Shae: Why? Where?
Nick: I’m going to New Jersey. For a football tournament.
Shae: Why isn’t Joe going?
Nick: He’s on the senior team and i’m on the sophomore team.
Shae:*disappointed* Oh.
Nick: I would’ve told you earlier, but I thought it would put pressure on you. You know, with school, and other stuff? You’re not disappointed, are you?
Shae: I’m not disappointed that you didn’t tell me earlier. It’s that, I wanted more time to spend with you and you’re leaving tomorrow.
Nick: Don’t worry. It’s not that long.
Shae: How long then?
Nick: 4 months.
Shae: NICK!
Nick: K, fine. 1 or 2 months.
Shae:*smirks* What time are you leaving tomorrow?
Nick: 7:00 am
Shae: Oh.
Nick:* pulls her into a hug* I’ll miss you so much!
Shae: *hugs back* I’ll miss you more!
