Travis introduces "The Bumps" - Awesome Directors Project

Hi everyone! I'm filmmaker Travis Betz and I'm your Awesome Director for the month of November! I've decided to be ambitious with my project and shoot the first scene to my half hour television show. I will use this scene to get networks interested in making a full pilot and hopefully turn into a honest-to-goodness show.

THE BUMPS follows the darkly humorous adventures of monsters-under-the-bed protecting children from the hungry monsters-in-the-closet. This first scene sets up the idea that the two are at war and involves heavy special effects make-up and fight choreography. This is a very exciting project for us and we can't thank Indy Mogul enough for helping us achieve this level of cool.

Please subscribe to my channel (link is above) if you'd like to follow the journey all this month. On December 1st we will post the video there for all to see, and it will be glorious. Maybe next year you will see The Bumps headed for TV and you can say, "Hey! I was there when they were just starting that thing!"

indymogul, i have been watching you for ageeees and you have helped me out so much, but seriously, you don't even have any proper shows anymore. only some random video's talking about videos other people have made, and links to them! WTF! i mean i didn't originaly get upset about BFX ending, becuase you said you were moving onto bigger and better things, geared towards more serious filmmakers, but so far there has been NOTHING. no new shows. Get your act together, your ruining your own show

the problem w/ IM is they wanted to switch to "teaching" filmmaking. BFX was mostly an entertainment show that was about props, and not film making. The problem of course is, IM does not know how to run a business, nor do they seem capable of teaching film making. Zack made all the best test films. He is the one who had film making skills. Not erik, not justin johnson. IM is outsourcing everything to their underwhelming hipster friends b/c they are incapable of producing anything themselves.
