  • @zzPirulito111zz Dead GTX550 Ti, vga was fine but wouldn't render 3d or play video! Faulty memory apparently, Took two OS re-installs and numerous driver installs to arrive at this conclusion! Nvidia are having major issues with drivers at the moment, something I only found out after joining their forum. :-/

  • @pikeystudmuffin What problems lol?

  • @zzPirulito111zz The problems I have had with Nvidia this weekend I shouldn't bother if I were you. lol

  • 2500k, 6970, 8gb ram, 3 hdd..enough power?

  • I am going for a build with a GTX 560 Ti and a i5 2500k @4,2ghz. I know 650W should be about enough to power that (keeping in mind that I also need power for the fans, corsair H60, soundcard, etc). But if I want to get another 560 Ti for SLI, would the 650W be enough?

  • Measuring voltage under load and idle doesn't mean anything. All those PSU's have PFC's so even if stressed to the max the voltage output will not change. IF the voltage changes that will not be because of the stressing it will just mean the PFC is somehow defective. If you want to test PSU's you need Osciloscope at least.

The other thing I noticed is you didn't mention one of the most important things in those "enthusiast" PSU's and that is the length of the CPU power cable.

  • @entertainment033 according to my experience, the best are corsair, then cooler master, then thermal take. Haven't tried other brands, so its all i can say :)

  • Do cooler master make good powersupplies ? people say it have problems like voltage regulation issues which kills other components by time ? is it true or i will be okay with cooler master 80+ bronze power supply

  • can this support i5-2500k and gtx580?
