READ THIS BEFORE UPGRADING!!!!!!!!


Only use Socket P CPUs. I'm using a Core 2 Duo T5750 in this video. Note: Take out battery before installing your new CPU.
Go to http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=251959 to find out what CPUs are compatible with this laptop.
Upgrade your BIOS to at least 1.8 here's the link: http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_4315.html

  • @HashSidd99 Yes, essential.. The grease acts as a heat conductor between the CPU and heat sink... Without the thermal grease you'll probably fry your new CPU.
