This is an audio clip of Carl Lewis trying to sing the U.S. national anthem at an NBA game in the 90's. As you can hear, he did not do a very good job musically, but a great job comically!
A few points I'd like to make you aware of:
1.- The most obvious one: How his voice cracks at the "red glare" part, immediatly followed by his "uh oh!"
2.- His promise: "I'll make up for it now..." (He never did).
3.- The way he stops at land of the free for fear of cracking up again, and "sings" it a wrong tone.
4.- His 5 second "braaaaaaveeee", as if it would make up for him being so bad the whole song before it.
