Mommy Duck and Ducklings in the House

There was a huge hail storm and a mommy duck was quacking at the back door so we opened it and she came in with her four babies! I fed them some bread before they walked through the house and left through a different door.

So cute!! If it happens again, give them barley or wheat seeds...they love it and is good for them. Bread isn't good for them even though they love it!

bread is actually very good for ducks there so cute and cuddly and oh i wanna pick them up so bad! the mama wouldn't like it though.

all the more reason to immigrate to Australia over the summer, the locals are so friendly, even to a family of ducks!

should not be feeing the ducks bread the glutin breaks down and puts a slimy wall around there stomachs preventing them from obsorbing the nutrents from there foods.. like puting glue on a wall.. sad

come on, people; knowledge is fine and thank you for spreading it but a bag of chips in a life otherwise filled with foraged foods, seeds, grubs, etc? And to die of being fat in the wild? Have you any concept of this irony?
