An incredible music video for an incredible song. Well, two songs, actually. Contrary to the official title, "Lesbians of Russia" is the first song (very upbeat), and "Jimmy" is the second (quite depressing). I think the contrast between the two works well in the context of a single video.

My friend bought this on cassette for the drive from Chicago to Oklahoma, a trip taken with my dad. Definitely not a fan of this noise his 18 year old was into. Pretty good sport over the next 14 hours, and a band I still love revisiting. Thanks for the post.

The video for "Lesbians of Russia" reminds me of the video for "Little Fury Things" by Dinosaur Jr that came out two years earlier. Very cool, still!

one of the best acid rock bands i've ever heard or seen, (yeh yeh yeh, i know the dunnies that read the music press AND BELIEVE it, call them "college rock", hee hee, oh well, great psychedelia!
