@5canminator5 I hope you have a big aquarium 4 goldfish will need a 40 gallon, a general rule is 10 gallons per fish unless you are going to do daily water changes.

never buy feeder fish(cheap gold fish you feed to other fish or get at carnavals) they are full of paracites

i got the same, they are called planaria, or praneria, i cant remember, they usually pop up when theres a combination of too much substrate, and a bit too much left over food, they are harmless to your fish, but look gross! just cut back on their food for a few days and that shoul be the last of them, but they can and will come back, just reduce their food when they do, hope that helped!
