The development of the Hyperion aircraft

The Hyperion aircraft was developed by an international team of graduate and undergraduate students from the University of Colorado, The University of Stuttgart and the University of Sydney. The design was done in a virtual environment according to a "follow-the-sun" procedure. Manufacturing of parts was done in Germany and in Colorado. Wind tunnel tests were done at Sydney. Final flight test was done in Colorado. The Hyperion was developed from concept to final successfully flying system within about 9 months.
The teamwork was awesome! The support was awe-inspiring as well!
