Right, some of them are from other areas of China. But they all live and make their livelihood in Tianjin.
I think including non-Tianjiners actually represents Tianjin better, because millions and millions of people in China's coastal cities have migrated from other places. That's how China is, and that's how Tianjin is. Lots of people living there are from somewhere else.
I'm curious about the ratio of positive to negative views of the Olympics among Mainlanders. But I doubt we'll ever really find out. I assume the majority are somewhat positive.
This video went along with a local magazine article. The magazine articles *do* get edited for content - not so much for political reasons, but for "image" reasons (can't make China look bad). Even though this video is all positive, I still got (politely) criticized for not choosing richer, more impressive people to interview.
