the discipline this year is so different with the modern dancesport.. The discipline became complicated but the basic elements of dance is still present. I salute dancers here. They started and made the history.

It is interesting to see the stylistic changes that have been made, and what DanceSport has become in comparison to this specific instance. It is so different, and yet ragender brings up a good point: the basic elements are the same, and they absolutely have to be. THIS is where the discipline of today comes from. I think that the evolution can mostly be seen in Donnie Burns and the Cha Cha as he vaguely holds the '1' and has shambles of a hip action. It's a very innocent sport here...
