This is a quick and easy way to cook fried rice (Indonesian style "Nasi Goreng).
Ingredients (for 3-4 servings):
1. shallots, 4 cloves, chopped into small pieces
2. 1 small onion, chopped into small pieces
3. red chili pepper, chopped into small pieces, omits if want mild fried rice
4. 1/2 bell pepper, chopped into small pieces.
5. sausage, or ham, or spam, a handful, chopped into cubes
6. green onion, 4 stems
7. 2 eggs
8. 2 cups of steam rice, cooked on the dry side, or better a left over rice that has been refrigerated works best
9. olive oil or vegetable oil
10. regular soy sauce
11. sweet soy sauce (thick, indonesian style, available at Asian grocery store, such as 99 Ranch
indonesian fried rice with olive oil...? never heard of that before. hehehe... a little european touch i guess...

To avoid the rice sticking to the pan, make sure you the rice is cold when you add it into the pan.
