Only 1 in 20 russian soldier reinforcements arrived at Stalingrad fully armed. Some had no rifle. Some had a rifle and no ammunition. If you were lucky you had a rifle and five rounds. They had too find what they could from dead comrades and enemys. As this scene depicts, the russians did chanrge at enemy positions mostly unarmed.

@breebw yea, and whatss ad is at the end of the war EVERYONE had rifles and ammunition, it just shows how much of a cost way payed by the Russians, Germany only lost 1/10th of the number of men the Russians did

very well done .. really does a great job in capturing the plot of the entire movie in just 6 minutes, and a beautiful song indeed
