This is coming from me, a white girl that grew up in the streets of lansing. its sad to know that people die on the streets every night because someone else was being a dumbass with a gun. to BIZZ820 may your friend rest in peace. It really breaks my heart to know people give up hope on themselves because of their situations and the become nothing to themselves and other people, just another dead body in the morgue, black, white, Hispanic, Asian. you name it, its still sad no matter who you are.

In the St, Louis area, there are people who actually gets pregnant on purpose so they can get on welfare without having to work.

By leaning on government aid and welfare, it teaches these people to become lazy and fully rely on the government. The government here should take away the majority of the benefits in order to force these people to be dependable and responsible.

I'm sure there is a lot of factors of why things are the way they are, but I think the biggest is attitude.

So basically we have worthless parents who will not discipline their kids; will not motivate them, and have no morals to pass on to them. All of the sudden, bam - the undisciplined 16 year old girl is pregnant by a 17 year old boy. The parents force the girl to get on welfare and child support. The boy leaves the girl and abandons the child. She has 4 more kids by age 29 with 2-3 different fathers all while on welfare. This happens all the time here.
