Pastor Jan Paulsen, world president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, asks if young people and women are being given the rightful functional role in the Church. "They are the Church," he states.
From what I've noticed as an outsider who didn't grow up in the church, children of Adventists are as disgusted by the laxness in the church as their parents were disgusted by the legalism when they were children. Whether it's legalism or laxism, both lead to desolation, as represented by the causes for destruction of the first and second temple.
Why then wont you (Paulson) take leadership in creating space for women to have legitimate leadership in the adventist church? Where will change come from?

I appreciate the vision casting. Unfortunately, the people who most need to hear this, probably don't use Youtube.
