Yeah you save money on the heat bill if you can keep up with the wood, gas for the saw and splitter and vehicles added up plus all the labor to get maybe a hour or 2 is not worth the effort!

If you have children you really should have a guard around the stove in case they accidentally fall on it! Lovely stove!

@derrick713 i agree those are not good to have unprotected with small kids. Even if they are aware its hot and not to touch it, accidents happen while playing. Small gate would work perfect.

I hear a sweet small little girl get a metal gate around the stove . thats an instant burn my neice fell on one lucky we grabed her off instantly but she still lost some skin

we jsut got a would stove put in last su,,mmer...people dont understand how much money people will save with these things..our gas bill is half as much...normal winter is like 250..we pay on 115 now...and they are funn and heat so weel
