GDC 07 Yellow Dog Linux Interview (PlayStation 3)

This is what Epic was looking into when trying to allow mods to be made. As of right now you still need the PC (Personal Computer) version of Unreal Tournament 3 to make mods. Yet you can still use the PlayStation 3 to download user mods.

Sony is now lying 2 us saying we can't have it. They have given us a nasty ultimatum out thin air. After advertising was done some programmers & scientists bought their systems bcuz of this feature & now Sony is forcing an 'update' that merely removes the ability 2 to install 'Other OS' or we lose the PSN is we don't. This applies 2 models b4 the first slim in sept 09 whes this magical choice started 2 disappear

ps3 is a PPC processor, not x86 or x64, it cant even run wine
