Ramayan is a tale for every generation. It is multi-layered, multi-faceted, multi-dimensional... and this new daily version of the timeless classic has been interpreted to cater to the taste of a shining, modern India. Television is all about great stories well told, and for us, Ramayan is India's greatest story ever and we hope to re-tell it in a compelling, entertaining manner.

  • I don't think vibhishan would actually do something as horrid as that! HANUMAN IS GREAT! HE IS THE DIVINE DEVOTEE. JAI HANUMAN

  • @GuajiraColombia75

what are saying? what did ram and sita do? i understand your views abt hanuman but if you see from his pov, you will understand what he did and why he did? he does not think about anything else other than ram. even though he is a king himself, he never lived that life. he does everything openly. he does not hide anything. the way he answers vibhishan shows that he does not even understand why would vibhishan get offended.

  • @IdentifiablePerson

first of all there is no destiny without karma. they both are connected. without each other they both are incomplete. how are you going to achieve your destiny without doing anything? even though everything is planned, the planning definitely consists of karma. there is no way someone can stay alive without karma. so stop discrediting hinduism.

  • @TheJodilena where is epi 217

  • I have a feeling that 700 years of ruling by Muslims and 200 years by Christianity have destroyed Indian philosophy. To make them happy the Indian intellectuals have introduced the concept of Karma. Karma and Destiny cannot go together. Destiny means everything is planned by god. Nobody can change it. Karma means you can change everything and you have the freedom to do it. These are two opposing views. Brahma is telling Ram has to demonstrate his Raj Dharma. Ram does not have choice.

  • man I don't wanna watch anymore of Ramayana because I know how unjust society is towards Mata Sita :'(
