Jeff Ray talks about the new SolidWorks Engineering Stimulus Package, designed to help out-of-work engineers and designers develop the skills they need to get back on track.
Does anyone think this is going to flood the market with beginners and make it harder to get a job? The CSWA is not an advanced extra training to help manufacturing people who have lost a job. It is to help new people who do not know of cad software and help them move into a manufacturing job. Isn't it? Where is the help for the loyal talented lot that need to say learn a different set of manufacturing skills? Like the product designer that now needs to be a machine designer?
You should be commended for this. This is a great thing.
