  • Prehistoric engine? The LS1 is more advanced than the 944 engine...

  • Your statement clearly shows you know NOTHING about this conversion, or the LS-1 engine. I think you just like being a prick. Its easy to be one on the internet. *If you were to take a 944 turbo (951), and remove the Porsche engine and all the supporting systems like the intercooler and oil cooler, then install a stock LS-1 with AC, power steering, the works, your weight bias from front to rear would stay within 1% of stock! Yet, your HP and, especially your torque, would increase substantially.

  • @187megalomaniac oh sweet.

  • @MangoSmoothie16 Renegade still makes the kit, check the site. It says that LT-1 kits and kits for 924 have been discontinued in faver of LS series kits for the 944.

  • Since the renegade kit isnt made anymore.... how complicated is this to do with a 944S, LS1 and turbo transaxle and clutch?

  • Well damn. I never would have thought of that but that is sick. Very nice.

  • My brother had a Powerhaus upgraded car and it was very good. When the engine went, he did the LSX conversion. It handled almost exactly the same and was quicker and faster. I liked both versions of the same car. The turbo upgrades were tremendous but very expensive. The LSX is more powerful and infinitely more reliable though.

  • @Digitalear makes for an interesting ride on the backroads. always...

  • @darkeyce02 that is funny

  • @Digitalear thats funny, i always have over steer in my 944

  • @Digitalear - I hear you on those DAMN timing belt repairs
