Two female ruby-throated hummingbirds in our backyard gorging on nectar for their long fight to South America. The males (who actually have ruby-red throats) have already left ... these girls will have to put it in high gear to catch up!

Wonderful video John! Love the music added too!! Glad to see you're not using any red dye! I still have at least one male everyday down here in SC and it's September 26th! I expect them to be gone pretty soon. Lots of little juvies still around for at least another week or so tho. Happy Hummingbirding to you!
