This payed for every evil act, word or thought anyone ever committed. No matter how dark or wicked it was, is or will be. So that you would not have to experience Hell, but be able to party with Jesus in the greatest city the world will ever see for all eternity. All you gotta due is follow Jesus.

He was tempted to do evil just as much as we were yet he didn't. Because he would not stop saying he was God we kidnapped him gave him a series of rigged trials, tortured him, mocked him and then gave him the most agonizing and shameful deaths in all of human history. He was then buried and then 3 day's later rose in victory conquering Satan, sin and death and proved that he in fact was God.

To put it simply the gospel is this: God made us and we said 'F You God, i want your job!' and began destroying ourselves and each other. God then set out to save us from ourselves by coming down as Jesus who was both fully man and fully God.
