@Mikemaniax it is Harry, not John. Harry handled the backing vocals on this and was in the studio for a lot of 'Goodnight Vienna' John was around, but that is not him reading the paper. He'd never wear awful 1970s socks like that...

it is John Lennon in disguise - toward the end he smiles and mutters something, and you cannot mistake that grin, and you can see just a little bit of that famous profiled nose...and John did a cover of the song too, and though I never thought I would say this, I prefer Ringo's version - John was smart to get Ringo to record it!!
