Through Zero flanging always has that volume drop as it passes through "zero," but it doesn't seem that that happens in Eric Johnson's High Landrons, unless I'm missing it. How is he preventing that?
PS - I like that feedback-y tone at 2:02.

Which plexi were you using for the violin lead tone. I think it's a metroamp. What model?

Yup... I NEED one of these now. That High Landrons tone is the Holy Grail tone for me. I've come pretty close in the past, but this just nails it. Great demo, and excellent videos all around, man.

very good info and demos as always!! what's your settings on the AC if I may inquire?
-
Well done. Enjoy your stuff!

Awesome! That flange effect is so dramatic - makes my Micro Flanger seem so tame...great demo man

man great video!!
Settings on the AC Booster are Volume noon-12:30, Gain- 0, Treble 11:30, Bass 12:30. Bascially I want no additional gain and to roll off a little treble/fatten up the low end slightly. The AC just adds a small amount of added sustain, clarity, sparkle, and fatness to the overall lead tone. The BK Butler is doing the heavy lifting and accounts for at least 80% of the sound you are hearing. The amp is definately cranked, both volumes past noon on a 100w amp! Hope this helps
