No one is debating that her start value is low...thats evident.....but her handstands did not have that much of an effect on her score. Because really they aren't anywhere near being off....except for the last one.
The judges were VERY critical of handstand positions in 2001. It doesn't matter if the guidelines says within 30 degrees, the judges basically expect the gymnasts to be dead on. Tasha was slightly off on the handstand before her Hindorff, on her overshoot, and before her dismount. Plus she caught the toe-shoot too close to the bar. All those combined, plus her low SV (9.6) is why she didn't score high.
what routine are you watching? Pretty much all of her handstands, except the final kip after the toe-on shoot to high bar, were within 30 degrees of handstand.
@uwoeric Umm...the low-to-high transition is awful. She probably got ripped for that.

Her start value was about a 9.6 and she missed some of her handstands.
