ISOs are (often bootable) image files that can be burnt to CD through programs such as PowerISO. You can also rip data from a CD to create a bootable ISO

very nice and easy to understand! thx. but it's virtual isn't it, like it's just visulisation, it's not really windows XP, but heck it's too complicated for me to understand.lol
Hey gys, I just want to know, what advantages can I get by having a Virtual PC?

Well you can test an operating systems' compatibility with your system without having to dual-boot or reformat your hard drive to accommodate two resident operating systems. If you don't like how the OS performs on your system, just simply delete the virtual hard disk as you would delete any document. That way the actual native operating system remains in tact!

U need a Disc in ur drive but it also sez
capture iso image...so i download powerISO
it created ISO image but it still comes up reboot and slect proper boot device etc.

you need to make sure the created ISO image is bootable. By default it should be if the disc you create the image from is bootable
