This song is entertaining to listen to, it takes me back. Gil sings about the possible calamity of a nuclear power plant that might have devastated Detroit. But did any body really listen? and if so why did Three mile Island almost end up with the fate that Gil sang about? and although a different scenario New Orleans and Katrina. I believe the moral of the story is an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Miles Davis? Seriously? Ok yes, Miles Davis (and those other artist like him) were brilliant for their time... and are still cultural relevant. What fails to dawn on you though, is the fact that before there ever was hip hop...Blues and Jazz was the hip hop of our Grand parents(and some of our parents) time.

That's just your opinion. Who cares how many 'hits' he's made & how much filthy money he's put in people's pockets by exploiting & promoting the worst aspects of black culture or selling all blacks as materialistic, greedy, sex-obsessed pimps & hustlers ? Is that supposed to be good ? Every one of those so-called 'artists' you mentioned & all their million selling 'hits' & fancy production put together isn't worth one Miles Davis album from the 1950s, most of which were made in 1 day.

You lost your mind. Say whatever you want about Kanye as a rapper or even a human being...but he is one of THE illest producers ever. Yes he is a shitty person, and became a pretty lame rapper...but he has made countless hits for Jay Z, Ludacris, Common, and many others.

I have a BA in Environmental Studies, and what I'm going to say most people won't believe: Other than renewable energy sources, nuclear is the cleanest form. If we only used nuclear, we may have areas of useless land due to meltdowns, but it would be better than the slow kill/global climate change of coal power/fossil fuel burning, which is where about 70% of the energy in the US comes from. Electric cars are powered by coal; they are not an answer to anything.

You are listening to one of the first spoken word artist who really had something to say. IMHO the OG of hip hop! Check out his work and listen to what he is saying and let me know what you think.
