The war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan has claimed more the 6,000 US soldiers' lives. Many American troops have come back to civilian life with PTSD and find it difficult to cope with the realities of war. Jessica Goodell, author of Shade It Black: Death & After in Iraq, tells us what it was like working the mortuary affairs unit.

  • This is nothing.

Imagine what the millions of murdered, tortured and raped people went through from the US war machine. I personally know people who lost their families from US bombs.

Everywhere in the world around US military bases, locals are complaining about the marines. In a place like Okinawa, the locals are suffering for over 65 years from the US bases. The marines are responsible for over 4,500 reported crimes per year and that's also counting the rape and murder of Japanese children!

  • So you sign up to join a violent mob whose job it is to kill and be killed, then you have a problem when you have to deal with dead people? Seriously, this is the kind of fucking retard that joins the military. Soldiers aren't heroes, they are stupid brainwashed dupes.

  • You went there to kill, so expect to be killed and mutilated!

Accept the consequence of your chosen fate!

You have done something greater good for not your country but for some money rollers who make good out of your deaths!

  • @canubelieve well said

  • @jangleballer Oh and judging from your comments you are obviously yet another youtube troll. Hate on soldiers do you? Perhaps it is because you were never man enough to become one. It is common for the weak to resent the strong for being what the weak cannot be. You go and gather with the rest of your heard of sheep. Us wolves will do the fighting so you never have to see anything unpleasant. Or you could do us all a favor and defenestrate yourself...

  • @jangleballer Soldiers follow orders. That's it. You will never understand that it is because of soldiers that you enjoy the freedoms you do. I didn't go there for Bush or for the government. I didn't go there for America and I could give a fuck about Iraq. I went because my fellow soldiers went and it was my duty to bring them home alive weather or not I agree with the war is irrelevant. But you will never understand that...

  • @JPSwissCheese You'll have get someone else to do that to you. I don't swing that way, baby. I respect your right to be the one taking it, though.

  • @TheGlobalGamer Regardles weather or not I join the Marines or not you as still a piece of shit who has no respect for the men and women who hold the fabric of civilised society together.

  • @jangleballer STFU and go pack fudge

  • @JPSwissCheese I heard that you're gay. All of this talk of 'balls' and 'ass'. I know what youre after.

  • @mattxr2i Don't blame the soldiers for this? Bush and Obama never fired one bullet. Blood is on the soldiers and your hands, my friend. Grow up and be responsible for what you are doing.

  • @canubelieve Totally agree.
