@inTankLLC thanks!

@DJDoubtIt81 I am very interested in trying out the media tray. You can do filter and carbon in one slot and bioballs in the others. I just find it to be a little over priced. But as soon as I find a good deal I will get it and let you know how it works out. I think that basket with the protein skimmer would work perfect. But don't mock my words until I get one and try it.

@inTankLLC Look at you video. There is a gap. Your not putting big fish into a biocube14 tank. Goby, Firefish, Cardnials get stuck. (I know) Your better off letting them land in the sump or filter side where they can swim and pull them out. The gap is bigger than 2mm.

How do you remove floor in stage 1????
RichardV2012 3 weeks ago
@RichardV2012 It can be removed by pulling up with a tool but most just push down on it with an object like a hammer handle

So... Your fish get stuck in the back portion of your nano cube? Interesting, I keep small gobies and other tiny animals in mine and I have yet to find any of them in the back area. Is this because you are choosing not to use the biocube filter pad?

@ChasethisReef This is a BioCube, not a nano cube it has a completely different back wall design. It is not because the crappy stock filter is not used. The rear wall does not come up high enough and fish and inverts can get in the rear chambers. The fish saver is a solution to that.

should the sponge filter be removed in chamber 3 when you are running the media basket or just leave it in place?

@defilade31 Remove it if you are using chemical media in the basket. If you are using chaeto in the basket then keep it in. Just remember to rinse every 2 weeks.
