With the last hurdle for the Lisbon Treaty out of the way, people across the European Union can now focus on another question: what is it, exactly? The document seeks to reform the unwieldy 27-nation bloc, but it is unclear to most how that will change life for the 300 million people within its mandate. Reaction from the streets of London, Warsaw, Paris and Berlin. Duration: 02:24

  • The dark cloud of communism finally hangs over europe, the poor will get poorer. Comminism...1.control the press, BBC euro news 24 = tick.

  • i love the way britain is depicted as idiots who don't know whats going on and are stupidly against the EU. the UK is "traditionally Eurosceptic" as we were never given a choice to enter and though the majority of people in the UK are "skeptics" and want out we have no choice and this is why parties like UKIP do well in EU elections in Britain.

  • The only country the Lisbon of Treaty is going to affect is my country the United Kingdom. The UK have the most advanced military equipment then any other EU nation and the UK will not be in control of any of it! we have terriories to protect and we will not be able to protect them plus we use the £ and not the Euro.

  • FIRST THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN EU CITIZEN SEC THE EU SHOULDNT EXIST THIRD NATION COUNTRIES WILL LIVE ON

  • 2:01 "At the moment we can't go back. Would be better to approve it then try to change things in the future than to take a step backwards..."

Wait...What? We can't go back? What if going forward is WORSE than going back?

People still don't Get It that it would be better to NOT approve something until it's changed to our liking than to try to fix it later?

It sounds apathetic & lazy to procrastinate on something so important!

I just started researching this & got a glimpse it passed 6/2011.

  • i hate richard nixon because he is gay

  • 0:52 I like that guy... at least he knows it has somehting to do with EU.

  • I am sure that nobody of you read the treaty. Wouldn´t it be better to read the convention first in a whole and than judge.
