A Vexilr is not for you a Hummigbird is. HUmmingbirds are cheaper and have more power and a more accurate reading your only paying for the name Vexilar

I don't get it?? How do you tell when you got a fish near you??? I've never even seen a fish finder in the summertime before...... I'm interested but wtf?? I guess I'll just have to stick to sitting and waiting. lol Sucks

Wow! People still want to pay for less with a Vexilar! Congratulations! The least amount of power, poor target separation, no waterproof case included, no digital charging system, crappy interference rejection, little or no zoom ..... none adjustable. They still need the gimmicky gain band-aid called Low power mode since the gain can't be zeroed out completely thus useless in shallow water. Marcum and Humminbird don't need this work around. Congrats on buying a Name,not a real quality flasher.
