  • The old early 90s college radio sound. Back when that meant something.

  • Saw them live in Liverpool Poly in 1989. Earlier that day they were in HMV signing records and I bought this track on 12" see-through vinyl.

God I loved this band! And I used to get really annoyed when people confused them with The Primatives! Thanks for the up-load!

  • Love this song but can anyone tell me why another song of theirs called "It's all up to you" isn't availeablr in this country according to youtrube?

  • I used to love darling buds.

  • @captaineasychord1 if you have not already, check out itunes radio WFNX...I just started to listen to it last year.

  • In 1990 when I was 16 ... I was totally into this song... The lead singer Andrea Lewis had a Huge influence on me. ... 20 years later and I havent change. I dress and dance the same. O-ya.

  • My favorite song by this Welsh group was "End of the Beginning" I had to pay extra for this cd back in 89 cause it was an import but I loved CRAWDADDY, it was worth every cent.

  • In 1990 I had this on cassette, rockin' it in my hatchback with a big kicker box sound system...this song was part of a great summer at my old home on the Jersey Shore. I heard it on FM 106.3 WHTG radio...sadly that station has changed its format.

  • I remember hearing this song when it was brand-new. That's how I used to dress, now it all looks so quaint!

  • I remember this song from the fall of 1990 on WFNX in Boston, which broadcast alternative rock in the truest sense back then. A year later everything changed of course with Nirvana and Seattle grunge-rock all but taking over the scene. Great, promising alt-pop bands like these suffered as a result, and they never got to achieve any success beyond indie level, and broke up just before the Britpop explosion of the mid-90s, not to mention the late '90s Welsh explosion led by Catatonia. Ace song!
