Crossing the Rubicon - Interactive Painting

Crossing the Rubicon (2005) is a collaboration with Thomas Artz (www.thomasartz.nl). The user can interact and play with the painting with a digital pen. The theme of the painting is a young boy's hesitation to make a big step in his life. There are other figures that do take the step and go into the boat out into the world. With the digital pen users can write down their own stories and doubts and add it to the painting so others can read them.
