This is a video demonstrating the disassembly of the prophet~600 and cleaning its contacts. In order to keep the video within a reasonable time frame, i made the speed of the clips sometimes 2x, other times 4x. I'm not a film person.

I added a prophet~600 track to this video, it was the result of a jam session a while back so its not perfect.

Enjoy, hopefully it will be of some use.

UPDATE: I still had dead keys after this cleaning. Basically, the rubber disks no longer had the carbon on the rubber; (it's the carbon that makes the rubber disks conductive.) A solution can be found over at Sound Doctorin': http://sounddoctorin.com/synthtec/par...
