Norb Brylski hand-trimming a piece of wood type at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum (http://www.woodtype.org). After most of the cutting work is done on a pantograph router (see related video at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8332086838267117089), the wood blocks must be "trimmed" by hand. Because the cutting bit of a pantograph router is too big to cut tight corners, the details of most letter blocks must be finished by hand with a set of specialized tools.
