@MichaelsPortraits did you even listen to 25? also this is only 1 vid of 3. And if you had the technique of Petrucci you would probably shred from time to time. And also while the stuff is fast it fits the songs really well, like The Dark Eternal Night the solo is really chaotic and in In The Name Of God it has a real middle-eastern feel and it fits perfectly. and then there is other songs like Goodnight Kiss where John slows it down abit. to call him a soulless shredder is just ignorant
