I fucking miss these days, who cares if the wrestling wasn't the best or the production wasn't glitzy and impressive, but these were some of the most fun days of my lifetime

i remember getting tapes as the shows were happening and going, "wow what the hell is this and when can i see more? ECW was the right place at the right time and it worked. Paul E was a master of getting the best out of the guys he had. Did WCW and WWE borrow from ECW? Damn right, but ECW still deserves to be recognized as a great promotion. I get pissed off when people bag it and do the bingo hall line. Like Lawler's promotion in Memphis didnt work in high school gyms?enjoy ECW for what it was

Looking back at these ECW videos just make me so proud to be a die hard ECW fan 10 years after it folded, ECW never died in my opinion, because as long as us diehard fans still visit these videos. and relive the memories, and as long as we keep the spirit of ECW alive in our hearts, we will never let the spirit of the greatest wrestling promotion of all tim die. ECW lives, and it will always live.

I still remember paying a shit load of money for crappy VHS tapes of the worst quality, just so I could see ECW. I used to get them shipped across the pond to the UK every week. Being a wrestling fan for over 20 years, It saddens me to say I wouldn't even (and don't) watch WWE for free these days. Now, what does that tell you about wrestling of today? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE wrestling, I just hate what it's become.

ECW was GREAT why? Because:
- The Wrestlers had passion for wrestling,
- The fans had passion for wrestling,
- They both had respect for each other, every awesome move would be cheered with it's own unique chant, if a move was done wrong they'd chant you fucked up also Paul Heyman best booker ever period. It Cannot and will never be replicated, this was the peak of wrestling history, and it took place in a bingo hall, ironic.
