Ashe County High School Marching Band Christmas Parade 2010
This is the first year that I could not hear the band coming! It made me so sad, as I have listened to this band for years in various parades. Then I noted the band is arranged differently with the brass/horns at the back and the percussion in the middle. Our band director retired last year, and I miss him and his knowledge so very, very much. Kristen and Tyler are the drum majors. This is the first year that the drum majors have not rotated through the band, also, to give directions. They were hoping to continue this, but they had to stay at the front. The students did a great job! Hope they will change the line-up for a better sound!
