Obama's Change (Artwork featuring Bo Obama)

Activist artist Nathan Janes has released his newest work titled, "Obama's Change." The painting depicts the Presidential pet "Bo Obama" dressed in the military uniform of past dictators, symbolizing the United States' slide from a republic to an oligarchy where Americans' freedoms have been sacrificed in the name of national security. Janes created this work to bring awareness to the lack of significant difference between the Obama and Bush's presidential practices as the current administration has effectively expanded the gains of tyranny and oppression achieved by the previous administration.

In an article Janes wrote to accompany this work, Janes states, "Restoration of Americans' rights and freedoms will not come from democrats or republicans, it will only come from American citizens educated about their constitutional rights who demand a government that serves them. Unless we restore our republic, any future president and their administration can further subvert our liberties."

Janes, whose past works have brought attention to the topic of animal well fare, reminds viewers of his art that without our civil liberties, we lack the power to protect our families and pets.

Make no mistake - the Police State under Hitler was far less advanced than in Socialist East Germany. Not because the Nazis lacked organisation, but because the electronic surveillance was more advanced after WW2. The socialist republic of East Gernmany was created after WW2 and used to be a country within reach of the Sowjet Unions control.
