popeyes flip 2008

Boat wreck. Popeyes has overtaken Amsoil for a mere 3 seconds when they flipped boat at 120mph barely missing Amsoil. The Driver Jim Natoli and Throttleman/Owner Stan Ware were taken to the hospital. Ware was released and Natoli remains in ICU as of Thursday the 11th of Nov.

Stan the owner and power guy was ok..the boats wheelman wasn't so lucky..still in intensive care with head injuries as of 11/15/08

Jim Natoli the wheelman of the race is now out of the hospital and expected to make full recovery. After multiple escape attempts they decided he was more trouble than needed and gladly released him.

i miss the old popeyes boat that used to dominate all but it had a horriable crash in key west i think it was around 1990 and people were killed it has never been the same
