  • Pretty sure we abandoned realism at the Dracula's castle part.

  • Usually, i don't bother with rage comments.

However, it's OUTRAGEOUS how this guy reviews a classic.

Not only he shows his lack of actual knowledge about the game system but he dares to say SOTN is DECENT! When it's AWESOME.

This game, opened a path for all the other Castlevanias to come, it's the grand daddy of Konami as we know it. (In regards to CV, anyway)

Stiff control? The only STIFF thing here is your Troll Bonner.

Over Done side scroller nature?!?! That's it, i'm out.

    Go play superman 64

  • Have u completely gone apeshit on great games u Mama Fucker????!!!!

  • Fan boys unite to shit on a youtube

  • yes...a 1 second long whip crack is soooooo horrible

  • @GryffinDarkBreed Yes very true that Yahtzee isn't completely retarded with his reviews and doesn't make completely ridiculous comparisons and his reviews can be funny to watch when you know its a bad game but when he rants on and on about minor control or texture glitch it gets old.

  • @someonethere1122 Except Yahtzee isn't retarded and doesn't hold Castlevania SOTN as -worse- than Crash Bandicoot 2.

Honestly, if SOTN was that bad, why are we still revisiting it like a friendly old relative who we have great memories with, and not Crash Bandicoot? Because Sony's attempt at a Mascot failed -miserably-

  • SotN is pretty awesome.

However, Alucard does not deserve the "respect" he gets. I mean, how many games has he been in? 3? He was only relevant in SotN.

  • There is really no higher level of thought on these reviews. I'm really not a fan of reviews that nitpick about the smallest things example this guy above and yahtzee. Yes both people have admitted that they like certain games but that doesn't excuse taking a small problem with a game and then blowing it out of proportion. Both of them make valid points about certain faults but to go on and on about them is ridiculous.

  • @frostytheaussie that is completely true

  • @HaganeSteel Oh no, I've seen it. In fact, I've spread anti-FF7 propaganda myself if only to say it's not the greatest game ever created. But he's complaining because it has too much gameplay and not enough cutscenes. It's not supposed to be a movie. It's a game, so I'm failing to see what he expected when he played it.

No, George Wood is George Wood because of his eccentric train of thought that derails as soon as it leaves the station.

  • @drumsticks57 Sometimes you guys act like you've never seen anti-FF7 propaganda, when it's been all over the place since its release. Wood's observation about the way FF7 delivered its plot was spot on. Sean's review of FF7 was fair, if harsh. Goldeneye's an example of Wood being wrong.

Bottom line is that George Wood is George Wood because of his age. He thinks at a high level, and in order to follow his eccentric train of thought, you need to read between the lines.
