New Orleans Katrina Artist Beverly Kimble Davis records the forgotten horrors experienced by the citizens of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina left the city high and dry. The drowning of New Orleans was the greatest "Man Made" catastrophe ever experienced in the U.S. Yet, nearly five years later the whole story about what really happened remains untold. Beverly is using her paintings to speak for the victims of Katrina, the dead, the dislocated, the powerless and others. By the 5th anniversary of the flooding of New Orleans, Beverly expects to have completed nearly one dozen paintings exploring many untold stories as yet untold. 30" X22" Prints are available by calling 504-616-6164.
