Hi guys I need help immediately on this one similar to dosa I tries making idli batter with idli rava in the ratio 1:2 with urad dal and rava my urad is extremely creamy when ground and I even mix the batter with hand for warmth to the batter and keep it in a pre heated oven of around 350 degrees fahrenheit but yet the batter doesn rise!!!I put salt too but yet fermentation is a failure!can u guys help me please?I wud appreciate immediate help

@roopa8683 : Sorry - somehow missed your Q. Fermenting at 350 degrees in an oven, you have killed all chances of the batter rising. :( the oven was too hot.
When we say pre-heated oven for fermenting, it just needs to go up to 100-150 degrees and then turned off and THEN put the batter in the oven - 350 is too much.
Sorry, it was such a wasted effort - but please try again...
