It is possible they are playing. The Blood and Chocolate was all recorded live, which means any later live performances would sound very close to the recording because both are essentially 'live' performances.

Weird. The band isn't really playing on this -- they used the backing track from the record and he's singing on top. Makes me think this isn't from the Montreux Festival...
