FireSteel.com Fire Starter Review

I purchased two fire starters for my camping gear from www.firesteel.com. I was hesitant to pay a couple dollars more, but the reviews looked great and the website was the most informative I've ever seen on the subject.

So, right out of the package I played with them and was so impressed that I decided to do this video review to share. Their starters produce AMAZINGLY HOT sparks and plenty of them. (I could have probably produced a more efficient spark if I didn't have the starter and the striker on the same string, but that's how I keep them together in my camping bag. Otherwise I'd lose one or the other.)

And while you CAN use your knife to generate the spark, it does seem to produce a much nicer spark with their FireSteel Super Scraper for 1.79

Your mileage may vary, but I was very impressed with this product and after a few uses I can feasibly see where it would light thousands of fires without needing to be replaced.
