I know that. I've read Dante's Inferno a million times over and the game almost seems like it has nothing in common with the novel written by Dante Alighieri besides the traveling through hell part.

read the new issue of gameinformer, the one about modern warfare 2. theres a game coming out called Dantes inferno, and has nothing to do w/ DMC except for the names dante and virgil. other than that, they games got nothing alike.

DMC4 (Nero is related w/ Sparda bcuz, Vergil's Yamato has his soul in it)
DMC Manga Vol.2 (b4 DMC2 happened)
DMC2 (Although, the storyline sucks on this one... it's an OK game in my book)
