So much for the "new paradigm". I've been listening for the last 2 weeks and have not heard one question actually answered by Gillard or Swan. Jenkins needs to enforce the rules in the spirit they were intended. His job would be much easier if he did. Either that or change the rules of question time so the oppositions can ask stooge questions to themselves like the government does.

@raff23 No they didn't lmao...there were only 2 boat arrivals in the first year the Pacific Solution was implemented. That's both to Nauru and Australia, because after all, as you say, they all get shipped off to Nauru. Learn some politics mate.

@MrBumnut1234 the boats still kept coming, they were just shipped off to nauru, no difference to the malaysia solution with malaysia actually having more room than nauru ever will. This is just the liberal party trying to point score with ppl's lives by refusing to accept anything other than nauru which in the long term would never be the solution.

"interest rates will remain low if you vote my party back in" "there will be no GST in my time as PM", the children overboard lies and backflips. "we are the best friends that the australian working class has ever had" the list goes on, howard told more lies in 1 week than gillard has in a year, ppl in this country have short memories.
