I hiked this trail about 10 years ago on the hottest day of that summer. The ledges high up were steamy with no views through the haze. Saw no one else that day! Good luck next time, you'll do it.

Nice video... I climbed Whiteface four or five weeks ago and there was still close to five feet of snow near the summit. Too bad you didn't get all the way to the top, that last quarter of a mile is the best part... lots of exposure!

Hey John, Thanks for the comment. Truth be told, this was just one more "re-journey". I've done all the 48 in the winter & now just go to the "fun" places.
Do you do any winter camping? winter camping Rocks! I have a couple of vidsfor that.
