http://www.kajanus.com - 'Traffic Jam' performed by Sailor. Words and Music by Georg Kajanus. All the videos on the Georg Kajanus Channel (bwbarb) were uploaded by the songwriter and performer for promotional purposes under the "fair usage" provision. 'Traffic Jam' was released in 1974. Sailor also had hits with 'A Glass of Champagne', 'Girls Girls Girls', 'One Drink Too Many', 'La Cumbia' and 'The Secretary', all written by Kajanus. Kajanus electronica band DATA, also had hits with 'Living Inside Me' and 'Ricocheted Love'. Recent Kajanus covers are 'La Cumbia' by Cuba Club and Scooter's 'Jumping All Over the World' a reworking of 'Champagne'.

  • This was the third single released in Australia in 1975 and the least succesful. I remember watcing it debut on Countdown and just thought it was so dull. Now, I think it's not a bad song really just nowhere near Champagne and Girls

  • Never heard this one before, but I love it. Sailor was one of my fave bands of the 1970s but never got the recognition they deserved.

    We had such a dearth of talent back then, and we were all spoilt for choice in our music. Such originality, not like now.
